The Sycamore School follows a mastery-based learning model that integrates academic development, social-emotional growth, and civic engagement. We serve a cross-section of students in the 5th-12th grade, including those who have anxiety, ADHD, and/or ASD. As an inclusive and progressive school, we are proud to serve a large LGBTQIA+ community. TSS creates a meaningful learning process, whereby teachers personalize instruction according to students’ interests, needs, and aptitudes. Learning is self-paced, offering both remediation and accelerated learning. Executive functioning and social-emotional skills are taught alongside academic skills.

Tutoring For Success provides one-to-one tutoring, academic coaching, and SAT and ACT test preparation, both in-person and online, for all ages and subjects. We also offer a comprehensive home-school program. Our tutors have college degrees, significant tutoring and teaching experience, and are vetted with background checks, reference checks, and personal interviews. We offer free consultations in order to make the best matches and create optimal programs of learning for our students.

Kathy Essig
Essig Education Group is a team of graduate degreed Executive Function and ADHD Experts, Writing Experts, and Gap Year Experts. Kathy Essig, president of EEG was named Educator of the Year, 2022 at the CHADD International Conference. Our group works with students from early elementary grades through college, offering online one-on-one executive function coaching, writing coaching, gap year consulting, and study skills classes. We also work with adults who are impacted by executive function, helping them develop the skills necessary to meet their potential at work and in life. We work virtually with clients throughout the US and internationally.

Behavior Solutions for Children & Families
Teri Bullis
I am a Ph.D. licensed psychologist specializing in behavior therapy, which is the gold standard treatment for ADHD. This approach usually starts with parent training in effective strategies such as reinforcement systems and effective disciplinary techniques to improve challenging behavior. When needed, this is followed by skills-based explicit instruction with children targeting any specific skill (emotional regulation, anxiety management, how to fall asleep at night, etc.). I also have a side specialty in treating Obsessive Compulsive Disorder in adults and children.
